See video. Boo-Gate put to rest by tonite's DWTS show

"Boo-gate" was put to rest on Tuesday's Dancing With The Stars results show as ABC aired new camera footage that proved the audience did not boo Sarah Palin.

The footage showed judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli holding up their scores for Jennifer Grey's jive as 8, 8 and 8. The crowd began to boo, prompting Carrie Ann to say, "That's a good score!" As the booing continued, Bruno said to the audience, "Whatsa matta you?" Then Tom Bergeron could be heard introducing Sarah Palin to applause and cheers from the crowd.

After the tape rolled, Bergeron cracked, "Sarah Palin told me before the show she was surprised by all the controversy, because she was booing you guys, too!. So there!"

Meanwhile, the main order of business was sending the second star of the season home. Who was it?

Michael Bolton.  (Continues here at USA Today)
