DWTS source: Sarah Palin impressed everyone. She's got star power herself.

My "DWTS" source added, ''Even though most of the people who work on the show are not fans of her politics, Sarah Palin did impress everyone. She was totally gracious and lovely to everyone at the show, I have to admit. She's got star power herself!''

Chicago Sun Times: No doubt about it, Sarah Palin's presence on the set of ''Dancing With the Stars'' -- cheering on daughter Bristol Monday night --had 'em buzzing backstage.

When the Tea Party hero and ex-Alaska governor heard those much-discussed boos, the former vice presidential candidate was overheard taking it all in stride.

Initially thinking the hoots were directed at her, Palin laughed it off, a show staff source tells me. ''I'm a mama grizzly. I've heard much worse -- and likely will in the future,'' said Palin with a chuckle.

Due to the speculation that those boos were for Palin, the show's producers did something Tuesday they have never done before: They aired footage from other cameras meant to prove the boos actually were aimed at the judges' panel, for giving Jennifer Grey lower scores than the audience felt appropriate.

As show co-host Tom Bergeron put it, ''Lucky we had the grassy knoll camera on because this really will just put it to rest.''

Until that footage was examined, many in the room -- including show staffers -- were convinced Palin was being dissed, as did she. The politician even quipped, ''I'd like to meet [the people booing] and see if I can win them over!''

Timing had a lot to do with it, as the boos rang out just as Bergeron was about to sit down with the ex-gov for a brief on-air interview.

Bergeron told the AP Tuesday that airing the replay from the other camera was only fair. ''It's out of respect really for Sarah for us to do this. Also just to clarify, just out of respect for our audience, too. These people don't get all dressed up to be hooligans.''
