Brewer's book sales go up after confrontation with Obama

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer’s tarmac confrontation with President Barack Obama has made her November 2011 book the second-fastest rising title on Amazon’s best-seller list. The book is also now the top seller in Amazon’s “public policy” category.

Brewer’s televised face-off alongside Air Force One ended when Obama walked away as she firmly rejected his claim that her book mischaracterized their 2010 Oval Office meeting.

“He was a little thin-skinned,” she said during a radio interview on News/Talk 92.3 KTAR. “I was a bit taken aback by his stance and his attitude… [and he walked way when] I was trying to make a point that I thought that my book was right and correct.”  Read more
