The Post’s Suzi Parker incorrectly reported earlier today on the "She The People" blog that the former vice presidential candidate, who recently left Fox News, had signed onto Al Jazeera America as a contributor. The report, however, was based on a satirical piece in The Daily Currant, a website which states on its "About" page that "our stories are purely fictional."
Parker, however, cited the piece and used quotes the satirical website made up from Palin. The Post has since published a correction on Parker's story stating that "the blogger cited a report on the Daily Currant Web site as the basis for that information without realizing that the piece was satirical."
Palin, meanwhile, responded to the Post piece on Twitter:
