Christie: Obamacare a ‘train wreck’

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie calls Obamacare a “failure” and “train wreck.”

“This is a disaster and it was a train wreck that anybody who’s managed anything, ever, in their lives, could’ve seen coming,” Christie told New Jersey 101.5FM.

“This is just an awful law. It made no sense and that’s why I didn’t get into a state exchange,” the Republican governor said on Monday, during the monthly “Ask the Governor” program.

“And no, I have absolutely no regrets. In fact, I’m really glad that the train wreck’s not mine; it’s [President Barack Obama’s],” Christie said of the decision not to set up a state exchange.

Christie also hit Obama — who he said is “scrambling” — on the promise that people could keep their plans, saying “there’s still strings attached” to those who are now allowed to renew their coverage and they’ll be “layered on with more Obamacare requirements.” (Continues)
