Apparently we've not heard the last of Bill Ayers. Ayers is the University of Illinois at Chicago professor who, back in the 1960s, co-founded the radical leftist Weather Underground and who became a lightning rod during the 2008 presidential campaign when questions were raised about his associations with Barack Obama. On Thursday, representatives from "The Campaign for Justice for Victims of Weather Underground Terrorism" held a press conference at the National Press Club in Washington to urge an expanded probe of Ayers and his wife, Bernadine Dohrn, who was also a member of the Weather Underground. "Don't we care that the young people today are exposed to the communist rantings of a Charles Manson follower?" asked Cliff Kincaid, who's best known as editor of the conservative media watch dog group Accuracy in the Media. Kincaid also heads America's Survival, the organization that sponsored the press conference. (continues)
