Security Guard, Alleged Gunman Being Treated for Serious Gunshot Wounds

As investigators continue to piece together the details of today's shootout at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, a disturbing picture of the shooting suspect has begun to emerge.
Two men, including alleged the gunman, are being treated for serious gunshot wounds.
Law enforcement sources have identified the suspect as James von Brunn, 88, who has been linked to Web sites with racist writings.
The suspect allegedly entered the museum with a long gun and exchanged gunfire with a guard, U.S. Park Police Sgt. David Schlosser said. Two other guards returned fire and wounded the alleged gunman.
The incident took place just before 1 p.m. ET, D.C. Metro Police Chief Cathy Lanier said.
Both the guard and the alleged gunman are being treated at George Washington University Hospital in Washington. Medical personnel treated a third person hurt by glass at the scene of the incident.
