So it's not political?

President Obama’s political organization is seeking to capitalize on Saturday’s Rally to Restore Sanity and March to Keep Fear Alive by convening volunteers for a phone bank at the Democratic Party’s national headquarters once the events, headlined by Comedy Central hosts Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart, is over.

“Whether or not you’re planning to attend, we need folks to turn the energy from that rally into action by contacting key voters across the country and making sure they have a plan to vote by November 2nd,” the leaders of Organizing for America, the president’s political organization, wrote Wednesday in an e-mail message to supporters.

“Democratic headquarters is just a short walk from the rally” the e-mail said, “and making these calls is a great way to ensure that the energy from the rally makes a difference on November 2nd. (NYT)
