Kerry Kennedy, the ex-wife of Gov. Andrew Cuomo, was arrested in Westchester Friday morning for allegedly driving under the influence of drugs, police said.
Police responded to 911 calls of a vehicle operating in an erratic manner on Interstate 684 at around 8 a.m. The car, a white 2008 Lexus RS 350, collided with a tractor-trailer, sustaining damage and a flat tire, before driving off the highway at exit 3, authorities said.
Police located the car on a state road. State police arrived and determined Kennedy, 52, was operating the car while impaired by drugs.
A source familiar with the situation says police found her passed out behind the wheel. (Continues)
