The 'Bam administration dismissed the news of Geithner's failure to pay more than $34,000 in Social Security and Medicare taxes as an honest mistake, and Geithner was confirmed by a 60-34 vote. Former Sen. Tom Daschle, Obama’s nominee for Health and Human Services, despite a $100,000-plus back tax bill for a car and driver provided by a wealthy friend, is also likely to win confirmation. His, too, was an honest mistake. Where is the Change?
