Meghan McCain refers to Andrew Breitbart as an “extremist” in the Al Sharpton Show

(Washington, D.C.) – Last night on the Reverend Al Sharpton Show on MSNBC, Meghan McCain referred to the late Andrew Breitbart as an “extremist” and accused him of engaging in “hate” politics, claiming he played on people’s “fears.” In response, Christopher R. Barron and Jimmy LaSalvia, co-founders of GOProud – a national organization of gay and straight Americans seeking to promote freedom by supporting free markets, limited government, and a respect for individual rights – issued the following statement:

“Meghan McCain should be absolutely ashamed of herself. She went on a liberal network with a liberal host and demonized Andrew Breitbart. During his life, Andrew Breitbart did more for gay people, and showed more political courage on behalf of gay people, than Meghan McCain could ever dream of. (Continues Here)
